Dreary

Feeling a bit low these days. Can't quite put my finger on it. Is it the season? Is it my job hunting? Is it my ramshackle love life? Who knows? Perhaps I'll take up painting again and lose myself in that pursuit for a while. It always served several purposes. I was able to find enjoyment in creating a painting and it removed me from real life, albeit temporarily. To the brushes and oils!

Rocks

Met up with some friends from out of town yesterday evening and had a nice meal and a few drinks in a pub in The Rocks, a great part of the city. It was good to see my good mates and we had a good time. I hadn't seem them for a while and it's always good to catch up whenever I can. I introduced one of my friends to the lovely James Squire Golden Ale beer which seemed to down well.

ASCIIBin

Sometimes it pays to pay attention to what’s out there. There is a wealth of information available about technological advances and so it is always a genuine thrill to find a truly useful piece of information that can really help you along. Just the other day I came across a great site about Code Collaboration that really makes a difference.

ASCIIBin is the way to go when it comes to code collaboration. Let me tell you a bit more about ASCIIBin as you may well find it ultimately of great value. The original idea was to come up with some application that would enable computer users to as it were copy and paste between devices and computers. Since that founding idea ASCIIBin has been enhanced to the level where it now a fully fledged Code and Text Collaboration Tool for Debugging purposes.

Have a look for your self to see what it is all about. There are some highly informative videos that will explain in great clarity the many uses of ASCIIBin. Some of the more advanced applications are a paste code with syntax highlighting in over 100 different languages/formats and also Text formating using BBCode as well as for instance Collaboration and Correction System and email reminders.

Sun

It's yet another gorgeous sunny autumn day here in Sydney. I just went out for a walk and to run an error and the sunshine was just splendid. It certainly is nice to live in a warmer climate for a change. Sure, with the hot climate come the odd bugs and things that seem to want to share my living space with me but that's not end of the world either. Warming my cockles, now that's something I most certainly signed up for to use a phrase.

PlanetBid.com

The Dutch are famous for appreciating a bargain and my years in Holland have certainly infected me with the bug of knowing when to snap up something good and economical. After all, it makes sense to cut costs when times are tough and we all know full well that times are tough all over.

So, we could all use somewhere to lay our hands on a great deal. Whether you want a
auction bargin ipod xbox cheap PS3 or some other great price on a product check out PlanetBid.com. Have a look and see for your self.

There is also a PlanetBid.co.nz for those Kiwis who value a great deal.

Band

I watched the Letterman show last night and saw a great band called Bat For Lashes. They performed a song titled Daniel and it was wonderful. Gothic, Romantic and atmospherical. Lovely stuff. Apparently, they're from Brighton and I just have to get my hands on their album Two Suns. Can't wait to upload it to my mp3 player.

Online MBA

I think that we can all agree that few things in life are as rewarding as the sense of a genuine achievement. It is a great feeling to achieve a goal in life through hard work or some other kind of dedicated effort. We can include in this of course a course of education that leads to an invaluable qualification.

Consider for instance the excellent school mba at Capella University. This online MBA program from Capella University is an excellent option for those who wish to maximise their talents in a rewarding course of study.

Capella University takes great care to mix traditional business courses with a series of professional effectiveness MBA courses that just happen to have been designed to deliver the knowledge and skills that can really take you further.

Bringing up Baby

Just about to settle down and watch Katherine Hepburn and the great Bristolian actor Cary Grant in the madcap flick Bringing up Baby, a film that irritates and entertains in equal measure. I know people who admire both leading thespians but cannot stand to watch this frenetic comedy. I think the term used to be screw-ball comedy, a quaint genre at the best of times. I sort of like it though..
