We had some friends over for dinner last night and spent an enjoyable evening chatting and having a few drinks. I do like entertaining friends every now and then. I once spoke to someone who claimed not to derive anything from a good heartfelt discussion and I couldn't quite understand that. To me, communication and an exchange of ideas, sharing a joke or an anecdote is quite invaluable. I get a lot out of it and in fact I think to some extent I thrive on the social aspect of a good get together. But then it takes all sorts..
