Today I spent me lunch hour sitting on a park bench in a park. So far, so good. The sun was out and it was positively toasty, let me assure you. There is a nice little article about Leona Lewis on the BBC News site today. Apparently, she is enjoying some amazing US chart success at the moment. I'm pleased that she's doing well as I think she came across as a genuine person with talent when I saw her performances on the X-Factor shows. Usually, I only watch the first few shows of that type of programme when they roll out the freaks and morons for us to poke fun at for a while.

But Leona Lewis, a secretary at the time, seemed really nice and unassuming but had a great voice. She didn't seem the type of person that has tickets on themselves either. I'm glad that she is doing well but someone needs to give her a plaster already..
