Sleepy time

Oh Morpheus..how sweet is thine embrace. Or: I recently bought a new bed and I find that I am sleeping wonderfully well this week. In the morning I can hardly bring myself to leave the cool sheets and firm mattrass. How soothing it is to have a good night's sleep, it just cannot be underestimated. Sleepy time...yes!

Drinks

Went down to the pub for a few drinks yesterday with a friend. We had a good time. The pub has an outdoor area which is nice on a hot day. That is something I am enjoying about living in Australia. You find your self spending a lot of time outside in the open air and that is just a lovely experience. I certainly can't fault it, that much is clear.

Akubra

Now my things from England have arrived I also have my much-loved Akubra hat at my disposal once again. It's great! But I am finding it seems a bit tight around my bonce so I'm trying to widen it a bit by wearing it indoors. I don't think my head has gained weight but who knows? At least I can go about with my Akubra like a fair dinkum Aussie, which I am.

Films

On one television channel there were two back to back films starring Robin Williams. I was interested to see what type of film he was in these days. The first was a slighty tiresome and lame so-called comedy 'RV' or something like that. Not very good at all. The next was a Fargo-clone called 'The Big White' which was more interesting in parts so that was something. Ah well..
