Les Rosbifs

Today we have the semi-final of the World Championships rugby between England and France in Paris. Apparently, it was virtually impossible to travel from England to France yesterday as almost all flights, Eurostar trains and ferries had been booked full carrying over thousands of England rugby fans to the Continent. This is not the time to go for a nice romantic holiday in Paris with your good lady.

I spoke to my colleague about England beating the Aussies last Saturday in the quarter finals. "After beating Australia we don't really care too much about the final," he said, smilingly.

Rugby is a fascinating game with a lot more method to it than perhaps at first would appear.

Of course, today we also have a European qualifier in England versus Estonia. But that's only football..
