Saw a story about a lost tribe of indigenous people in the Amazon who had been photographed by the crew of a helicopter flying over a remote stretch of the rain forest in Brazil near the Peruvian border. Read about it here and you can also see the picture taken. It's amazing that there are still lost tribes who think that a plane or chopper flying overhead must be a giant spirit or some strange bird. An expert on indigenous people on the radio this morning said that there are still about one hundred tribes living in the world who have not had contact with the outside world. The presenter asked him if any of these lived in the UK. Probably not, was the answer.
