It's a sad story coming out of Burma these days. Buddhist monks demonstrating and protesting against a particularly nasty military junta. It must be a very paranoid sort of society where fear of reprisals rule what people do and don't do. I was amazed that people there have access to the internet at all. Like China I would have thought that the Myanmar regime would make every effort to prevent people from accessing free and open information. I hope that the monks and the people of Burma get through this dark situation alright.
