Funny slow news day story about Osborne, the emu that nearly ended up as an omelette. A woman from East Sussex bought an emu egg from a farm somewhere as a novelty food item. As she was used to rearing chickens she decided to see what would happen if she put the big blue egg in her incubator. A while latter out popped Osborne the emu.
