I just went into the venerable Marks and Spencer store in town and bought myself a nice, and if I dare say so cool, pair of trousers and also a shirt.With stripes. Blue stripes. As I went along to the till to pay for these goods two ladies were in front of me, paying for some clothes items. The girl behind the counter made mistake on the till, processing a card transaction and when she noticed exclaimed: “Shit!. I mean sugar. I shouldn’t say that.” A few moments later her supervisor had appeared and sorted out the mess this girl had created. I don’t think Marks and Sparks take too kindly to that sort of language being used by staff in the presence of the punters. No sir!
