I have a funny relationship with sports or rather with the importance that a lot of people seem to place on them. Many people seem to think that playing sports is somehow a worthy, even noble pursuit. Obviously there is nothing wrong with enjoying a game of whatever but does society really have to value football prima donnas to the extent that they earn tens of thousands of pounds a week? I’m not so sure.
