Going on a holiday with one of those motorhomes or RVs as they are also called would be a great adventure. Just to pack up and set off on a road trip with all of the comforts of home would be a very nice way to see something of the world. But where would I go? If I had the choice of travelling anywhere I would like I think I would take my time just driving south through Europe, stopping anywhere and everywhere that would take my fancy.
There would be no hurry or stress or anything to worry me and my loved ones on that glorious road journey. I would try to leave the motorways behind as far as possible and take the smaller, more scenic roads. The Southern part of Germany would be a favourite with its many forests, and mountainous regions. Switzerland would be fabulous and Italy simply a dream. I would linger long around the lakes around Como and Lugano and only very slowly head off towards Slovenia and Croatia.
Then we would make our happy way down towards Greece and take in some much deserved sunshine. Greece would take up quite a bit of our time as well. If time allowed I might even consider extending the trip into Turkey. Ah..happy travels.
