St. Pancras

I read the other day how the London railway station of St. Pancras has been revamped and overhauled and will soon be functioning as the London terminus of the Eurostar rail link to Paris. Apparently, the new St. Pancras is something to behold. It is supposed to have a great number of high end shops, fashionable bars and restaurants including a ninety metre long champagne bar (for some reason..), and much more. Even the head of the French railways was so impressed he said that it was probably the best train station in the world. High praise indeed from a Frenchman. Perhaps he was just glad that soon he won’t have to arrive at a station called Waterloo anymore when taking the Eurostar to London?
