Culinary heaven

Just got back from town after a wonderful anniversary meal at our favourite restaurant at Hotel Du Vin. Once again we feasted on that wonderful dish; Chateaubriand. What a walhalla for the senses; an eldorado of delight, yes culinary nirwana. I can't understand how some people couldn't care less about fine foods. It's just so enjoyable to partake of something truly astounding. To be alive is to indulge the senses at least to some extent. Otherwise, what's the point of being alive?
We had a wonderful meal and a beautiful Bordeaux. Sometimes life can be pretty good..
