Quick Poetry Tips 1

Be concise. Make your lines count by being to the point whilst you evoke what you want to convey in your poems. It is far more effective to be economical with your language than it is to be overly verbose. Most people read poetry because, among other things, it is a wonderfully succinct literary form. Don’t betray their attentions by labouring your point, however beautifully put.
